The Society of Radiography in Kenya (SORK) is registered by the registrar of societies in Kenya under the Societies Act Cap 108, as a society exempted from registration, a provision contained in Section 10 of this Act. NB: Exemption of a society is purely at the discretion of the Minister.
The Society of Radiography in Kenya (SORK) is a professional body that caters for the professional interests of all the radiographers practicing in Kenya. Founded in 1962, the Society boasts of having a registered membership of about 1070 practicing radiographers, which is estimated to be more than 90% of the diagnostic and therapeutic radiographers in Kenya. To be a SORK member, you need to:
Have completed a Radiography course at an accredited and recognized college internationally.
Be a continuing student, studying Radiography.
Be a corporate or an individual interested in the activities of Radiographers.
